Viz Art Ink on the Front Cover

Posted on September 06, 2015 | Posted under Artist in Residence, Beach, California, Carlsbad, Carlsbad Magazine, Disney, Doodle, Lifeguard Tower, Sunset, Tamarack Beach, Tower 34, Viz Art Ink
If you live or are visiting Carlsbad, CA during September/October 2015 make sure to grab one of the Carlsbad Magazine. My newest piece "Coastal California" made it on the cover! I drew it live at Disney's WonderGround Gallery while I was Artist in Residence in May. The Carlsbad Magazine can be found throughout Carlsbad and at our gallery.

"Coastal California" is a journey through the coast of California and inspired by our mesmerizing beach sunsets. The golden sunsets are something to see in person with all the pinks, purples and oranges in the skies that reflect in the Pacific Ocean. Carlsbad was also an inspiration for this piece and was where I originally took my pictures for the lifeguard tower off of Tamarack Beach, Tower 34.

Disney Artwork and Artist in Residence

Posted on April 24, 2015 | Posted under Artist in Residence, Disney, Disneyland, Downtown Disney, Goofy, Gregg Visintainer, Mickey Mouse, Viz Art Ink, Walt Disney, WonderGround Gallery
I am excited to release my new Disney artwork along with some exciting Disney news.
For the month of May I will be Artist in Residence at the WonderGround Gallery in the Downtown Disney® District. I will have many of my Viz Art Ink collection pieces and the new Disney artwork for sale. Look for special appearances and signings throughout the month, see dates listed.
Date Appearances: May 1, 2, 8, 9, 22, 23, 29 & 30 from 6pm - 10pm.
New Release & Signing Event- Disney will be welcoming Artists, Brian Crosby, Martin Hsu, Jarrod Andrew Schorr and myself to the Disneyland® Resort release of our new Disney artwork. We will be on hand for a special appearance and signing at WonderGround Gallery in the Downtown Disney® District May 9, 2015 from 11a.m.-1p.m. "Fishing for Goofy" and "Walt's Dream" will be available starting May 9.
Artwork is only available through Disney and can be purchased at the WonderGround Gallery.
"Fishing for Goofy" was inspired by a picture of Goofy fishing when he caught the hook on his pants. I wanted to recreate the picture in my style and my version of the famous Disney piece. I added a colorful background with lush trees, flowing river and fish laughing at him. Hidden you will find everything about Goofy that we all love and many images of him throughout the piece.
Artwork is only available through Disney and can be purchased at their WonderGround Gallery in Downtown Disney.
"Walt's Dream" was inspired by the story of Walt Disney and his vision. There is a famous statue at Disneyland titled "Partners" which helped spark the idea for this piece. I wanted to create a scene with Walt and Mickey Mouse looking into his dreams with the Castle and fireworks in the background. Hidden you will find everything that makes Walt come to life. "Walt's Dream" was also picked by Disney for the WonderGround Gallery 60th Anniversary artwork.
Artwork is only available through Disney and can be purchased at their WonderGround Gallery in Downtown Disney.
