If you live or are visiting Carlsbad, CA during September/October 2015 make sure to grab one of the Carlsbad Magazine. My newest piece "Coastal California" made it on the cover! I drew it live at Disney's WonderGround Gallery while I was Artist in Residence in May. The Carlsbad Magazine can be found throughout Carlsbad and at our gallery.
"Coastal California" is a journey through the coast of California and inspired by our mesmerizing beach sunsets. The golden sunsets are something to see in person with all the pinks, purples and oranges in the skies that reflect in the Pacific Ocean. Carlsbad was also an inspiration for this piece and was where I originally took my pictures for the lifeguard tower off of Tamarack Beach, Tower 34.
